Players achieve new levels in Zoomumba by acquiring experience points. This is done by performing certain actions, such as caring for animals. After achieving a specific amount of experience points, the player advances to the next "level" - a number which represents how much experience a player has earned overall in the game.
As a player achieves higher levels, greater and greater amounts of experience are required to level up. For example, the amount of experience required to achieve the first 25 levels is roughly equivalent to the amount of experience required to go from level 25 to level 30. It is possible to reach level 200 in ZooMumba.
Rewards[]
Upon achieving a new level, the player is rewarded with pet pennies, and after level 10, with 3 zoo dollars. Certain animals, habitats, buildings, and decorations start out as being locked and inaccessible, but are unlocked when particular player levels are achieved. Other benefits include more safari areas to explore and a larger zoo to work with.
